I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Matheu! The staff at check-in were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hostel itself is fantastic—comfortable and well-maintained. Its location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to a variety of facilities and attractions. Whether you're looking for restaurants, shops, or cultural spots, everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Madrid!

-Perfect location. It is in the heart of the city. -Breakfast is OK. Not bad but not perfect either. -Hotel staff is helpful.

The hotel and location was great. It was close to everything and it had all facilities nearby. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful!

The location is great, although there were many construction and reinnovations in the erea. Close to every thing by metro. Price is fair.

Greatly located, but if spending the weekend quietly I would suggest somewhere else. In a party neighbourhood for sure
